PepeSchool - EJERCICIO 3 de ANIMACIÓN

En este ejercicio teníamos que hacer un corto con teteras. Al final me compliqué la vida más de lo que debía, pero para el tiempo que tardé tampoco estoy descontento. Vamos progresando :)

This time we had to make a teapot short film. I finally got myself into to much trouble; anyway, I'm happy with the results as the deadline was quite tight. And we keep on progressing :)

Tras terminar mi etapa en mi trabajo (y puedo considerar mi primera y mejor escuela) en INK APACHE en mayo, donde aprendí la mayoría de cosas que hoy sé sobre animación, postproducción y 3D, me fui a estudiar animación 3D a PepeSchool, en Barcelona, donde estaré estudiando hasta junio.

El 1º ejercicio de animación consistía en hacer que una tetera rigeada hiciese algo en una especie de rocódromo que nos daban.

Yo hice esta animación, que tiene sus cosas buenas y sus fallos, cosas que no se entienden,... y que corregiré al final del curso. De momento ahí dejo lo que hice, y así veis mis progresos :)

La música es la canción "Sense la Ressó del Dring" del disco "Psicòtic Music Hall" de Pascal Comelade y los SFX son de freesound.org.

After my stage at INK APACHE was finished in May (it was my first, job and best school where I learnt almost all I know about animation, compositing and 3D) I moved to Barcelona to study at PepeSchool, where I'll be spending my days till June.

Our first animation exercise consisted on making a rigged teapot do something on some kind of climbing wall.

I made this animation, which has some good things and many mistakes, badly explained actions,... I'll correct them at the end of this course. I uploaded it anyway so you can check my progress :)

The music is the song "Sense la Ressó del Dring" from the album "Psicòtic Music Hall" composed by Pascal Comelade, and SFX are from freesound.org

Yo Duermo con un Oso - I Sleep with a Bear

Por fin salió, el tercer libro infantil que he ilustrado. Ha sido un gustazo trabajar otra vez para los niños :) Es un público que te va a gustar siempre. Los niños no defraudan y espero no defraudar a los niños :)

At last it's in stores! The third book i've illustrated. It's been a huge pleasure to work for children again :) Children are an audience that never dissapoint and I hope not to dissapoint them :)

El Rey de la Lasaña - Lasagna King

Mi padre hace muy rica la lasaña y por su 60 cumpleaños decidí hacerle este anuncio de animación, con intro de imagen real. Yo soy el de bigotes que sale al principio, junto a la valiente de mi madre que se "ofreció amablemente" a colaborar :) Para ser su primer anuncio lo ha hecho bastante bien!

Tardé 2 semanas largas en hacer canción y toda la imagen.

Mi father cooks the mos delicious lasagna ever! So I decided to make a "Lasagna King" animation ad for his 60th birthday, with real footage intro.
I'm the one with the moustage at the 2nd shot, next to my mother, who "gently volunteered" to collaborate :) I think she did it great for being her first time!

It took me two long weeks to make the song and the video.

FELIZ NAVIDAD

Aquí dejo algunas felicitaciones de Navidad que diseñé en los últimos años. Todas fueron hechas sin cobrar y usadas para reunir dinero para diversos proyectos benéficos (construcción de una casa de acogida para mujeres, instalaciónes de agua potable,...la de este año será para Cáritas, que falta le hace).

Una fue mi incursión en el photoshop, otra un intento de foto de familia del siglo XIX, y las dos últimas un intento de diseño de unas figuritas que me gustaría hacer de verdad(pensé en madera, pero aún no tengo claro el material).

Y Como seguramente no suba nada hasta dentro de un mes, os deseo que tengáis una Feliz Navidad llena de sentido (y si no se lo encontráis ya sabéis que yo os lo explico :D )

Here you have some Christmas Cards I designed in the last 4-5 years. All of them where made for free and sold to collect money for some cooperation projects (building a foster home for women somewhere in Africa - now I don't remember where -, drinking water instalations, Caritas -it's an NGO-, they really need it).

One of the cards was made during my beginnings with photoshop, another one pretended to be like a XIX century family photo, and in the two last ones I was trying to design some Xmas figures I want to make, maybe in wood (I still don't know).

As I will probably not update this blog in a month, I want to wish you all Merry Christmas full of sense (If you don't find it I can help you :D)
